Challenges

  • One of the challenges of this project was its location. Since it was located at the airport, we had to make sure to obtain security from the airport every time. There were also restrictions to the hours that we could do our work. We had to make sure to use special mats at doorways, so we didn’t track dirt from the site throughout the airport.
  • Receiving deliveries at this location was a bit challenging. All deliveries had to go through the tarmac. This required a lot of coordination between our trades, the airport, and security.

Standout Features of the Project

  • One of the standout features of this project is the LED Strip Lighting. It does a great job at highlighting the product and the space to create a bright visually appealing interior. Display shelves have a channel with a diffuser to create an even glow.
  • The signage is another great feature. It’s backlit and helps the user of the space navigate through much more easily and efficient.
  • The extensive millwork in the space is a standout feature. It’s thoughtfully laid out to not only make it easier and efficient for the user, but also aesthetically pleasing as well. The back of pharmacy was designed according to the regulations by the college and meets standards for efficient functionality.
